BD-A1040 - new universal player in the AVENTAGE range from Yamaha
Written by Karl Erik SyltheYamaha launches new universal player which replaces the former top model BD-A1020. The new player is called BD-A1040.
BD-A1040 is an obvious match for the new receivers in AVENTAGE class, that we wrote about earlier this summer. Like the AVENTAGE receivers also BD-A1040 has both WiFi and Bluetooth, which allow for streaming music from your PC / Mac and mobile devices. WiFi gives the additional advantage that Yamaha's nice app for controlling AV devices can also be used for universal player.

BD-A1040 only has analog stereo outputs. To find analog multi-channel outputs, you must back to BD-A1010. We have already added this player in our comprehensive overview of universal players. If you have not already taken a look at it, it's worth a visit here .
