New boxes from Pro-ject

Pro-Ject has famously a wide range of small, compact units. Now six new boxes in the top series RS arrive.

British manufacturers NAIM and Cyrus are famous for their wide range of external power supplies to upgrade their HiFi components. Now  Pro-Ject follow, launching power supplies as an upgrade for their top-class components in the RS series. We are talking about four different models with external power supplies:

 

Power Box RS Uni 1 - for the pre-amp / DAC / Network Player - 4,000 - veil.
Power Box RS Uni 4  - 4 outputs to preamp / DAC / Network Player - 6,000 - veil. 
Power Box RS Amp - for power amplifiers (also Amp Box DS can upgrade here) - 5,000 - veil. 
Power Box RS Phono - with battery operation for Phono Box RS - 5,000 - veil.

 

But they have more going on.

 

DAC Box RS is a converter that can do it all. In addition to mastering what you had to serve of digital format, you can choose between transistors and tubes on the output stage, before sending the signal to the XLR or RCA outputs.

DAC Box RS costs 8.000, - NOK

 

In Pre Box RS Digital , Pro-Ject DAC Box RS is combined with a preamplifier. There is also an analogue input, and also here we find the choice between RCA and XLR outputs. A headphone amplifier with adjustable impedance is also part of the package.
