Music Service WiMP will now put a special focus on classical music, and thus move the genre into the digital age. Besides being the best on the market for streaming audio performance, WiMP will now also be best for classical music. Therefore, WiMP teamed up with one of the strongest providers of classical music in Denmark, Morten Ernst Lassen, who has been appointed editor of WiMP Classic. Here he will guide users to classical music magnificent universe - both the classic power users, and not least the many who are curious about the genre, but do not know where to start.
Morten Ernst Lassen is not Mr whom-as-anything when it comes to classical music. Grown up in a musical home and the son of a classical conductor, it was a natural that the young Lassen also had to go the traditional route. Besides being trained opera singer and singing as a soloist in many parts of the world come Morten Ernst Lassen from a position as editor of Radio Classic. In addition, he has a professional background includes Universal Music, Tivoli and Berlingske.
