RECORD NEWS - Torbjørn Dyrud / Out of Darkness - 2L - Pure Audio Blu-ray / SACD

This time the recording is made in Nidaros Cathedral, with Nidaros Cathedral Choir having a central role in the work Out of Darkness. Torbjørn Dyrud is composer for this work, which is a kind of passion - but not quite.
Nidaros Cathedral has remarkable acoustics, which should be a great challenge for Morten Lindberg. 2L has chosen to publish this work on a 2-disc release with Pure Audio Blu-ray, which also comes with an SACD. Both disks have multichannel tracks in addition to stereo. Pure Audio Blu-ray disc has 5.1 DTS HD MA at 24/192, in addition to LPCM in 24/192. And as if that's not enough, buyers of the record may as well download 96kHz Flac or MP3 without extra charge.
