Denon DA-300USB

Denon launches USB DAC with support for DSD. The name is DA-300USB.

The new DAC from Denon plays all stereo file formats, including DSD. In addition to the two optical and one electrical digital input, it has a USB-input which ais asynchronous. That means the clocking and jitter is limited to that which is produced by the internal clock of DA-300USB.

There is also a headphone output with dedicated volume control. The volume control works only on the headphone jack. On the front  there is also a small display, showing simplified graphical representation of the input,  sampling frequency and volume of the headphone output

Resulution in PCM 24bit signal - this unit is handling up to 192kHz. In DSD it can take both DSD2.8 and DSD5.6.

The housing is compact and may be oriented both horizontally and vertically. The latter requires the included stand.
