Denon DNP-2500NE - new top-class streamer

Denon launch an entirely new streamer in the new 2500NE series. It thus becomes the third component in this top class from Denon.

A week ago we presented the new top series from Denon. It consists of CD / SACD player DCD-2500NE and the integrated amplifier PMA-2500NE. But then there is also a streamer in the horizon - Denon DNP-2500NE.

DNP-2500NE can play both HighRes PCM and DSD. As network player can stream DSD with resolution up to 5.6 MHz, while capacity increases to 11,2MHz when DNP-2500NE operating as USB DAC. Similar conditions we find for PCM, where the capacity of streaming up to 24bit / 192kHz. As USB DAC it can play files with resolution up to 32bit / 384kHz.

This streamer from Denon has even more on the CV. AirPlay and webradio are fair features, and the unitit can be controlled from Denon's app for iOS and Android - an App called Denon HiFi Remote.

Denon DNP-2500 also has a headphone amplifier onboard. It has implemented Denon's concept DDFA, which has a digital processing.
