TACET has worked with classical music in surround since the late 90s. They have had many productions in both DVD-A and SADC. Now they have a commitment to the Blu-ray Audio, and already there were four titles in the collection, where three of these was a relaunch of their previous CD releases of Haydn's string quartets, performed by Auryn Quartet. This series was previously planned relaunched in multi-channel SACD, but TACET has obviously decided instead to do this on Blu-ray Audio.

One of the three new releases this time is a new release from Auryn's Haydn quartets, as well as releases with Mozart and Ravel.

TACET has introduced its own concept when it comes to multi-channel mix - TACET real surround sound . This includes confirmation that there is direct sound from all channels, not just reverb. This is a strategic choice made by Andreas Spreer in TACET.

It has been also made some recordings with a concept that TACET call Moving Real Surround Sound. This implies a dynamic placement of instruments, and can probably easily evoke reactions in the conservative part of the customers. Therefore, this was always a supplement to the track with static placement of the instruments, which for space reasons made it difficult on SACD releases. Can focus on Blu-ray Audio create space for new releases with elements of Moving Real Surround Sound ?
