Hans Kortenbach has a very different and very exciting approach in his speaker designs. Instead of creating a cabinet that is most dead and resonance-free, realizing Short Bach that there is an almost impossible task. He has therefore been focusing on creating cabinets that have a resonance that fits the elements and the music. The development of the cabinets is therefore an operation with tuning and some trial and error, until he reaches the optimal result.

In loudspeaker Grand Crescendo is used a 12-inch coaxialt broadband element. In the new redeveloped Grand Crescendo Apassionata, this element was further developed. Musical Affairs has replaced the previous paper-based edge suspension with a new one that is made of goatskin. In addition, the tweeter moved from the center of the 12-inch model, the top of the 12-inch model, but somewhat lopsided.

In the interesting video program produced by Moiz Audio below tells Hans Kortenbach both the development of the new Grand Crecendo Apassionata, and his general fascination for EMS elements, and also his attitudes toward reproduction of music.

Norwegian dstributor of Musical Affairs is Moiz Audio .
