ValentineBuds from Huawei Featured

Written by

Huawei launch FreeBuds 3 in red. This is scheduled for Valentines day next Friday.

At this fall's IFA trade show, Chinese Huawei launched their third generation of their earbuds - FreeBuds 3. And while it is obvious that the design and concept is obviously heavily inspired by Apple's Airbuds, they have shown that they are fully capable of standing on their own.

This third generation obviously stands out from the arch rival Airbuds 2 bu having implemented noise cancellation. This gives FreeBuds 3 an advantage over the competitor in the same price range, depending on how much effect Huawei has managed to give the noise cancellation on such an open structure.

Kirin A1

Another trademark of FreeBuds 3 is the proprietary processor chip Kirin A1. It goes back to many of Huawei's products, including the smart watch Huawei GT 2 , which we wrote about when it was launched in October. This is supposed to be a very fast chip, and according to Huawei was also the first chip of this category to give BT 5.1 and BLE 5.1.

Huawei claims that a proprietary dual-channel technology allows two earbuds  to receive  stereo sound  directly from  one device. They further claim that the self-developed dual-channel transfer mode provides ultra-low response time, down to  190ms2 , which should make FreeBuds 3 to the perfect wireless earplug for  gamers.

Valentine FreeBuds 3

Apple has its Product Red, while Huawei has chosen a different approach for its red version of FreeBuds 3. In conjunction with Valentines Day, they are launching this special red model. And in the same slate they create a special campaign where the price is reduced throughout the week from NOK 1,790, - to NOK 1,390, -.
