Marley - New headphone amplifier from M2Tech
Written by Karl Erik SyltheItalian M2Tech introduces new headphone amplifier with some properties that provide flexibility.
The town of Pisa in Italy is of course best known for its tower. However, this medium-sized city in the northwestern corner of Tuscany holds more. HiFi manufacturer M2Tech is best known for its DACs, but have a few more cards up its sleeve. The most recent of these is the headphone amplifier Marley.
Marly has two sets of stereo amplifiers on board. These can be used to drive two sets of single-ended headphones with each volumkkpntroll, or they can be run in balanced bridge mode, providing 6dB increase in output.
Headphone Amplifier also has two inputs with input selector, and regular pre-out for connection to external power amplifiers. There is also a separate rec-out.
Volume happening in 1dB steps from-78dB to 0dB. There is also a mute that lowers the level of 20dB.
The effect is quite remarkable to be headphone amplifier - 4W RMS per. channel into 8 ohms makes you ablo to drive highly sensitive speakers.
