The player is based on the earlier SA-7S1 is shown in the picture, a player who is known as a musical gentleman. The new Blu-ray player UD9004 coming later this year, will get the SD-card reader and ethernet port.
Marantz UD9004 will be one of the only BD players that supports SA-CD, more specifically the fourth in a row. The other three, you can read about (in Norwegian) here. Like Denon's DVD-A1UD this is likely to be an expensive player, so those waiting for an audiophile model in the mid-range with these qualifications should probably wait a while. Before eventually Marantz or others launch a model that only just rounds the corner of five-digit amounts.

Marantz launch a new high-end Blu-ray player. Some of us appreciate that it also can play SA-CDs.
