Rega Apheta 2 – new MC PickUp from Rega,
Written by Karl Erik SyltheRega launch a new generation of MC The Pickup Apheta published in 2006. The successor is named Apheta 2 and come early spring.
Rega is one of the senior figures within newer turntable constructions, and has in addition to a rich range of turntables and arms, also a good selection of pickups. With the exception of the top model Apheta, it has been MM-constructions in lower or moderate price ranges, depending on the eye of the beholder.
But with the MC pickup Apheta who arrived in 2006 there was a change - an MC konstruction saw the light. And with the successor Apheta 2 that is advertised to arrive early spring, Rega has created a comprehensive improvement of this pick-up.

2. generation of Apheta has got a big reduction og weight, which should provide better tracking features. The house is completely new and consists of a aluminium construction. Rega sees Apheta 2 as a natural partner for their turntable models RP8 and RP10, where it provides a package price with Apheta 2 by purchasing new.
Rega imported to Norway by Mono.AS and veil. price is set to NOK 12.995, -.
