Rega launch a new USB DAC. The name is Rega DAC-R.

Although Rega perhaps best known for their turntables, they have also gained a good reputation in digital technique. CD players have been on the menu for decades, and the new DAC is a supplement in this digital tradition.
Rega DAC-R is an asynchronous USB DAC which handles files in resolutions up to 24bit / 192kHz. In addition to the USB input, there are two optic- and two RCA digital inputs. These are isolated from USB port to prevent electrical contact with any connected PC. DAC R is equipped with two double Wolfson WM8742, and is driven via a buffer stage.
Rega has not succumbed to the temptation of implementing compatibility with DSD files or network streaming. In return, they equipped it with three selectable filters, adaptation to personal preference.
