VPI Weisline - arm cable from Nordost Featured

Written by

CPI has gone to its partner Nordost in an effort to create the ultimate arm cable. The result is VPI Weisline Tonearm Cable

The designers of the New Jersey-based vinyl company VPI had ambitions to make the ultimate arm cables for their HighEnd turntables, and made the natural choice to contact Nordost, one of the cable giants in the HiFi market with more than three decades in the industry. Nordost has used conductors made by OFC, and individual shielding of the right and left channels.

VPI Weisline comes in lengths of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 meters, and has prices between $ 600 and $ 800, depending on length.

Manufacturer Specifications:

  • 4 x 28 AWG, solid core OFC Conductors
  • Nordost’s revolutionary FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) extrusion
  • Twisted Pair cable construction to eliminate inter-channel crosstalk
  • Individual shielding of the Left and Right channel for maximum defence against EMI/RFI
  • Separately shielded, silver-plated bond wire running parallel to the signal channels for optimum grounding capabilities
  • Terminated with high quality, low mass, gold-plated connectors
  • Made in the USA

CPI sold in Norway by:

  • Duet Audio
  • Gjallarhorn Audio
