Azur 851D - new DAC / Pre from Cambridge Audio.

Cambridge Audio will unveil a new DAC in Vegas. The name is Azur 851D.

The new Cambridge Audio Azur 851D is just one of several news from Cambridge Audio being unveiled at the upcoming CES in Vegas. It is a combined DAC and digital preamp, and has more costly solutions than the existing CD player 851C.

The DACs are 2 pieces of Analog Devices 1955- 24 bits, whereas it is used Analog Devices Black Fin ADSP-BF532 32-bit DSP for upsampling. There are 5 digital inputs, including one AES / EBU balanced. There are also USB and Bluetooth. All digital inputs except optical can take 24/192, while the optical limited to 96kHz.

There are is both balanced and RCA outputs in this DAC / pre weighing 7.5 kg.

 

 

Price in Norway is 9.998,- NOK.
