Estonian Estelon continues to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The flagship model Forza arrive in anniversary Edition.

Just over a month ago, Estelon launched their MkII of the Classics series in connection with the celebration of their 10-year anniversary. We wrote about this new series here .

Now the time has come to one of the decided flagship models. Forza was originally launched in the spring of 2019, and the first pairs were sent to Estelon's dealer Squarewave Audio in Hong Kong in March. They were also duly introduced at the Shanghai Show in April and at the Munich High End Show in May 2019.

Forza is a model where the construction has been scaled down from the ultimate flagship model Estelon Extreme costing up to 2.2 mill. NOK.

Estelon Forza Anniversary Edition.

This exclusive anniversary model Forza Anniversary Edition will only be produced in 10 pairs, and has a finish in Blach Pearl Gloss, and is complemented with details in gold. On the panel for the speaker terminals you will find the designer Alfred Vassilkov's signature.

Estelon Forza is basically a 4-way construction where each speaker weighs 150 kg and protrudes almost 1.7 meters above the floor. It has two 250 mm bass drivers in aluminum sandwich, which according to the manufacturer are capable of producing extremely deep and precise bass, while the bass range is also supported by a 190mm  bass driver. Also this one is built in Aluminum sandwich. The midrange is operated by a 168mm driver with a ceramic membrane that is ultralight and rigid, which should allow the midrange to be reproduced without staining or distortion. It should also have a linear frequency response.

The tweeter driver is a 25mm diamond tweeter that can also be found in the dashboard of a Bugatti Chiron. It has a frequency response that extends all the way up to 60 kHz, and is supposed to be distortion-free in the human hearing range.

Estelon Forza has a very sculptural shape. But like the rest of Estelon's range, the design is not primarily aesthetically pleasing. The soft curves in the cabinet eliminates reflection and diffraction, while the frequency characteristics of the scattering are claimed to be kept straight and linear in a wide range. This helps providing a wide sweetspot.

The combination of curved cabinet walls and divided inner chambers should eliminate cabinet vibrations. The intention Estelon claims they have achieved with this is a sound reproduction free of cabinet sound, where the music only comes from the drivers.
